It was an unforgettable bonding experience for BB Gandanghari and Senator Robin Padilla, who were joined by their mother Eva Cariño, and other family members, as they enjoyed a getaway in Taiwan.

Gandanghari took to her Instagram page to share glimpses of their trip to Taiwan, which included them unloading their baggage with the help of airport officials and having their valuables checked.

“Family Trip — been looking forward to this. Bonding Time,” she captioned one of her posts. “Creating memories with Mama while we can.”

At some point during their getaway, Gandanghari was seen dancing to Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” with Padilla and his wife, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, at the Taipei Metropolitan Park in New Taipei City’s Sanchong District.

“Tiktokers: First time to do this… Haha. With @robinhoodpadilla and @marieltpadilla in Taipei. We are having so much fun and this TikTok dance is just a manifestation of how much fun we are having on this trip,” she wrote.

Since coming out as a transgender woman in 2009, Gandanghari has long been open about her bond with Padilla and her mother, especially after patching up their relationship.

The siblings were not on good terms in 2020 after the actress called out the actor-turned-senator for not reaching out to her when there were allegations about her supposed death in the US. She eventually apologized to Padilla in the same year.

While Gandanghari has been a US citizen since 2022 but has always made time to visit her family in the Philippines. She visited the grave of her late brother Royette, and also bonded with Padilla’s daughters in December of the same year.
