It is a full circle moment for Gabbi Garcia, who is set to be one of the hosts of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab,” 13 years after auditioning for the hit reality show’s Teen Edition.
Garcia was announced as one of the hosts of “PBB’s” season on Sunday, February 9 on the reality show, Sparkle GMA, GMA Network, and the actress’s social media platforms. It was also revealed on the Kapuso variety show “All Out Sundays” on the same day.
“And the wait is over! Say ‘Hello, Philippines! Hello, World’ to our newest PBB Host — ang Kapuso It Girl ni Kuya, @Gabbi! Welcome to Kuya’s family,” PBB’s post read.

GMA Network and the Kapuso talent management arm congratulated Garcia by sharing photos of herself when she auditioned for the reality show in 2012.
“From auditionee to host! Who would’ve thought? In 2012, Gabbi Garcia auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother—now, she’s stepping inside Kuya’s world as the newest Kapuso host! A full-circle moment. Life truly has a way of making dreams come true. Congratulations, Gabbi,” GMA Network’s post read.

‘Huge milestone’
Garcia recalled her “Pinoy Big Brother” audition on her Instagram account, saying that she was meant to be one of the reality show’s hosts, although she hinted that “more” is set to come in store.
“I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ll be one of your hosts for the upcoming ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab’ Edition! See you all sa Bahay ni Kuya!” she wrote.
“Fun fact: Back in 2012, I auditioned for PBB Teen Edition Season 4! (Check [the] last 2 photos!) Fast forward to 2025—looks like I was meant to host it instead! Or who knows? Maybe there’s still more in store. This is a huge milestone, and I can’t wait to share this experience with all of you! Game na ba kayo (Are you game for this),” continued Garcia.

Details on Garcia’s “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab” co-hosts, as well as the celebrity housemates from the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks, are yet to be revealed, as of this writing.
The upcoming PBB edition, which was announced in January, is a celebration of the reality show’s 20th anniversary.
