Maymay Entrata has “reintroduced” herself as she decided to seriously pursue music, announcing the upcoming release of a project she has been working on for over a year.

The actress-performer looked back on her showbiz career through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Feb. 4, admitting she felt she’s still lacking despite delving into acting, hosting and modeling.

“Habang lumilipas ang panahon, marami po akong na-experience, marami rin akong goals na nakamit–pero parang feeling ko no’n may kulang pa rin,” she said.

“I’ve done music po before but it all changed when I released ‘Amakabogera.’ I was empowered. I felt strong,” she stated, regarding it as what ignited her passion in music. “I felt happy every time I learned something about music. That was the moment I decided to pursue it seriously.”

Entrata underscored her gratitude to those who have believed in her potential in music, crediting them as the reason why she eventually believed in herself as well.

“More than a year na po ako nagpre-prepare for a certain project. May bagong music po akong lalabas very soon–music that reflects lahat po ng pinagdaanan ko at lahat ng laman ng aking puso,” she revealed.

“I’ve reached another turning point in my career. I want to remake myself, I want to be reborn,” she declared. “And with that, let me re-introduce myself po. I am Maymay and sana masamahan niyo po ako sa aking journey of discovery and sharing my inner world with you through my music.”
