High off the success of his “Sariling Nating Mundo” show, TJ Monterde has received another blessing after he was named the most streamed OPM artist on Spotify.
Monterde announced his newest milestone on his Instagram page on Thursday, February 6, while thanking his fans for their continuous support.
“Concert high pa ba? Grabe kayo, mga bituin! After those [three] magical nights, dito niyo naman ako dinala (Are you still on a concert high? You’re amazing, my stars. After those three magical nights, this is where you brought me). Cheers to another milestone! Mahal ko kayo (I love you all),” he wrote.
The singer-songwriter recently held his three-day “Sarili Nating Mundo” show at the Araneta Coliseum, where his wife KZ Tandingan, BINI Colet, South Korean solo artist 10CM, Martin Nievera, and Arthur Nery were among the guest performers.

In a separate post, Monterde expressed his gratitude through a series of art cards celebrating his distinction in the music streaming platform, with the last photo saying: “#1 sa puso ni KZ (number one in KZ’s heart).”
“Sobra sobrang blessings, lahat ng ‘to — pero sa last slide pa rin ako (All of these are overflowing blessings, but I prefer the last slide),” he wrote.

Based in Cagayan de Oro, Monterde is a singer-songwriter known for the songs “Dating Tayo,” “Ikaw At Ako,” and “Mahika.”
His song “Palagi,” which is part of his 2023 album “Sariling Mundo,” was a smash hit, and has been played on several platforms. A duet version with Tandingan was released a year later, which was selected as the theme song for the 2024 film “Hello, Love, Again.”
