Yeng Constantino and her husband, Yan Asuncion, celebrated their decade-long marriage by standing together at the altar anew to renew their wedding vows.
Constantino professed her love to Asuncion while showing glimpses from their renewal of vows through her Instagram page on Thursday, Feb. 6.
The couple held the ceremony at a garden with a red heart-shaped platform that served as the altar. Constantino donned a white off-shoulder knee-length dress, while Asuncion looked dapper in a white suit and a tan vest.
“Ten years ago, I made a promise to love and cherish you, through all of life’s joys and challenges. Little did we know, our journey would be filled with moments that would test our love, and our patience to each other,” she said.
“But here’s the thing, we made it through! We weathered every storm, held on to each other when the road got rough,” she added.
The singer described their love story as “real, raw and unrelenting devotion,” underscoring how they chose to love each other despite imperfections.
“As we renew our vows to reaffirm our love for each other, I’m reminded of all the reasons why I fell in love with you in the first place. Your kind heart, and your unwavering optimism inspire me every day to be a better person,” Constantino wrote.
“I love you for who you are, and for who you help me to be. I love you for the adventures we’ve had, the memories we’ve made, and the dreams we’re still chasing,” she continued.
The couple’s special day was witnessed by loved ones and celebrities including Eric Santos, Sam Milby, KZ Tandingan, TJ Monterde, Kyla, Jona, Jason Dy and Isabel Oli.
