Selena Gomez joins Taylor Swift on billionaire list, taking ‘BFF’ status to new heights.

Earlier this year, VCPost learned that Swift’s net worth exceeded $1.2 billion thanks to her record-breaking Eras Tour, joining the ranks of Bezos and Musk. Now, her friend Gomez has officially joined the list.

Rare Beauty’s Part in Selena Gomez’s Fortune

According to Bloomberg, Selena Gomez has a cumulative net worth of $1.3 billion. Similar to Rihanna, much of Gomez’s multi-billion dollar fortune comes from her wildly successful cosmetics line, Rare Beauty.

Rare Beauty, founded just five years ago, has become a social media sensation with its approachable packaging and brightly colored liquid blushes and lip glosses.

The company had net sales of $400 million last year, according to the World Brand Forum, and her stake in Rare Beauty alone is worth more than $1 billion.

Selena Gomez Billion-Dollar Net Worth

Rare Beauty isn’t Gomez’s only source of income, though. Bloomberg revealed that she has also earned hundreds of millions of dollars through multiple brand endorsement deals over the years. Some of the big brands she’s worked with include, but are not limited to, Coach, Louis Vuitton, and Puma.

Meanwhile, although it’s unconfirmed, she’s making at least $6 million per season as a cast member of the Hulu series “The Tower.’

Finally, a small portion of her wealth can be derived from her success on screen and in music. Her acting career alone includes several Emmy nominations, as well as several Grammy nominations.

With this achievement, she, at the age of 32, also ranks among the youngest self-made female billionaires in the world.
