MANILA, PHILIPPINES — YGG Pilipinas will launch its Metaverse Filipino Worker (MFW) Caravan, a traveling roadshow that will bring the future of work across the Philippines.

  • Play: Fostering a thriving gaming community where Filipinos can build careers in esports, content creation, and digital economies
  • Work: Unlock earning opportunities through digital jobs, freelancing, and online gigs
  • Grow: Onboarding more passionate individuals expanding more activities and strengthening communities

The MFW Caravan will start on April 5, 2025, in Davao’s Ayala Malls Abreeza, and visit the following locations:

  • May 4: Cagayan De Oro, Ayala Malls Centrio
  • June 7: Iloilo, Ayala Malls Atria Park District

Emmy Lou Delfin, Director, ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB) and Regional Director, MIMAROPA at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), shared a few words regarding the event:

“The MFW Caravan reflects a crucial shift in how Filipinos approach work–one that prioritizes digital skills, borderless opportunities, and economic empowerment…”

“By expanding awareness and opening more pathways to these opportunities, we are laying the foundation for a more inclusive and resilient digital workforce in the Philippines.”
