After over two decades, Vina Morales has returned to GMA where she is set to star in the upcoming TV series “Cruz vs. Cruz.”
Morales announced her comeback to the Kapuso network through her Instagram page on Friday, Jan. 17.
“GMA, I am thankful for today! Thank You God! To God be the glory!” she said, sharing photos from the story conference for her project.

In a succeeding post, Morales recounted her Kapuso roots, then looked forward to working with new and old friends including GMA executive Annette Gozon-Valdes.
“Dalawang dekada na pala akong hindi nakapagtrabaho sa GMA. Last show ko noon ay ang musical variety show na ‘SOP,’” she shared. “Sa kanila po ako nag-umpisa, sa ‘That’s Entertainment’ ni Kuya Germs.”
“Excited po ako na umpisahan ang bago naming teleserye, ‘CRUZ vs. CRUZ,’ directed by Direk Gil Tejada, based on a true to life story,” she continued. “Thank you sa warm welcome, mga Kapuso.”
The actress-performer also thanked her talent management company, Star Magic, for their support.
“To God be the glory,” she concluded.

Joining Morales as cast members in the upcoming TV series are Gladys Reyes, Neil Ryan Sese, Gilleth Sandico, Pancho Magno, Kristoffer Martin and Lexi Gonzales, among others.
Further details on the project have yet to be announced as of this writing.
