Singing champions Sarah Geronimo, Rachelle Ann Go and Erik Santos recently reunited in Manila to celebrate their 22 years of friendship.
On Instagram, Santos shared photos from their intimate dinner celebration at a fine dining restaurant in Makati alongside their plus ones, Geronimo’s husband Matteo Guidicelli, Go’s husband Martin Spies, and Santos’ sister Hadiyah.
In his caption, Santos described their trio as “The OGs” and remarked that their friendship is intended to endure for life.
“What a fun night. Natuloy din sa wakas! Saya ng bonding. We didn’t talk about work. We talked about life, love, and body aches. Tumatanda na tayo, but our friendship will definitely stay for life,” he said.
Santos underscored that their friendship is not measured by how often they see each other but by how much they are willing to be there for one another.

“Last night, we also celebrated our 22 years of friendship. Binalikan ang nakaraan, nung nagsisimula pa lang. Ang dami na nangyari at mga pinagdadaanan, pero tinatawanan na lang natin. At least kahit hindi tayo nagkikita madalas, we know in our hearts we always have each other’s backs,” he stated.
“Hadiyah, sana naka relate ka sa kwentuhan namin ng mga ninang mo. So happy seeing you guys. Love you all! Thank you, Matt and Sars, for dinner. Where to next???” the male singer concluded his post.
The three artists all rose to fame after each emerged as champions in their respective singing competitions: Geronimo for “Star for a Night,” Go for “Search for a Star” and Santos for “Star in a Million.”
Go, who is based in London, is currently in the Philippines with her husband and their kids. She moved abroad in 2014 for the West End revival of “Miss Saigon,” where she played the role of Gigi Van Tranh.
In 2023, Go reprised her role as Elizabeth Schuyler in the Philippine run of Hamilton.
Meanwhile, Geronimo in 2024 received the Billboard Philippines Woman of the Year Award at the first Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards.
