MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Tuesday filed cases for falsification and violations of the Anti-Dummy Law against dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo and four members of her family.

Aside from Guo, her two siblings, Shiela and Ximen Guo, are also included in the complaint along with their parents Li Wenyi and Jian Zhong Guo.

NBI National Capital Region (NBI-NCR) Regional Director Ferdinand Lavin said the complaint is related to the family’s 3Q Farm, Inc in Pangasinan.

“They have falsified the articles of incorporation, the secretary certificate, and the general information sheet,” Lavin said.

Lavin said “they misrepresented themselves as Filipino citizens.”

The investigation showed that the family members were actually Chinese citizens, based on various documents.

“The NBI was able to sufficiently establish that they are Chinese citizens based on forensic examination of the fingerprints as appearing in the various documents. We have documents from the Department of Foreign Affairs, documents from the Bureau of Immigration, documents from the NBI and they also lied when they said that they are occupants, residents of a place in Bulacan,” Lavin said.

Lavin said the NBI will also proceed with a forfeiture case.
