Noah Centineo reprises role as Peter Kavinsky in ‘XO, Kitty’ season 2

Three years after American actor Noah Centineo’s last appearance as the dashing Peter Kavinsky, he made a surprise cameo in season two of the romantic comedy series “XO, Kitty” in support of its lead character.

Centineo reprising his role as Peter was confirmed in the trailer of “XO, Kitty” season two, uploaded on Tuesday, December 17, where he was seen extending his arms before hugging Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart).

The streaming platform also announced Centineo’s cameo on its official X (formerly Twitter) page. The post showed the actor hugging Cathcart’s character in what appeared to be the lawn of the fictional Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS).

“Peter Kavinsky was seen. Noah Centineo makes a special appearance in XO, Kitty Season 2! Premiering January 16,” the post read.

It remains unknown on how Centineo’s appearance will play out in the show’s second season.

Centineo is best known for his character in the “To All the Boys” franchise which includes the films “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018),” “To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You (2020), ” and “To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021);” as well as the aforementioned show.

“XO, Kitty” is a spinoff of the “To All the Boys” film series, which is based on the young adult novels of Jenny Han, who is also the showrunner of the series.

The series revolves around Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), sister of Lara Jean Covey (from the “To All The Boys” film series), who navigates her own journey through school, love, and growing up. Season two is slated for a January 2025 release.
