Anne Curtis‘ videoke duet with her daughter Dahlia Amelie drew laughs from the actress’ husband, chief and restauranteur Erwan Heussaff after the preschooler seemingly showed signs of taking after his wife’s love for music and high tunes.

Heussaff caught them on video taking the popular late ’80s ballad “Eternal Ballad” to new heights, so to speak.

A now-expired video that he posted on his Instagram Story showed Curtis and Dahlia singing the chorus of the American rock band The Bangles’ hit, with Dahlia taking the high notes at the end with her sweet falsetto voice.

Amused by Dahlia’s “bravura,” Curtis looked behind her to find Heussaff laughing off-camera.

“There is two of them now,” Heussaff captioned his post while tagging the actress-host, referencing his wife’s “unrequited” love for music, particularly songs with high notes.

Curtis also reshared her husband’s Instagram Story with the caption, “[To be honest], I think she was following my lead.”

Many netizens were also amused by Curtis and Dahlia’s video, with some noting the four-year-old child was indeed the daughter of the “It’s Showtime” host, as seen in the comments of INQUIRER.net’s report on its Facebook page.

Curtis and Heussaff tied the knot in November 2017 in Queenstown, New Zealand after being engaged for almost a year. The couple welcomed Dahlia, who is of Filipina, Australian, and French descent, in March 2020.

The actress-host has always doted on her daughter, posing  about Dahlia’s engagements on multiple occasions, including a time when the latter donned a colorful Filipiniana for her school’s United Nations (UN) celebration.

Anne is set to be the lead in the upcoming Filipino adaptation of the hit K-drama “It’s Okay Not to be Okay” and an untitled project with filmmaker Erik Matti.
