Xian Lim found a proud supporter in film producer Iris Lee, who has nothing but praises for the actor after he earned a license to be a private pilot.
Lim shared the milestone through his Instagram page on Thursday, Jan. 30, showing moments from when he received his epaulette.
“It’s official! PRIVATE PILOT,” he said in the caption. “Still in the clouds from everything that happened.”
Lim thanked the aviation school he attended as well as its staff for being patient with him and for being his inspiration.
“Next up, CPL (commercial pilot license)! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR everyone! ” he added.

In the comments section, Lee sent several emoji including a face holding back tears, a red heart and an airplane.
“Congrats, so proud of you,” she wrote.

The film producer also shared Lim’s post via her Instagram Stories, adding face with heart eyes emoji.

Lim started his aviation course in September last year. Two months later, the actor flew a plane all on his own for the first time. Earlier this month, Lee took her first plane ride piloted by Lim.
Lim confirmed his dating status with Lee in May 2024, which came months after speculations of romance between them first arose in the latter part of 2023.
