Mark Herras is standing by his recent viral performance at a gay bar, stressing that there was nothing wrong with what he did as it was in his line of work.

Addressing the online chatter in his recent guest appearance on “Toni Talk,” Herras explained that he just danced and that people took notice of it because he did so at a gay bar, adding he sees nothing wrong with it.

“Sayaw lang? Wala naman problema. Dumating ako doon as performer talaga as guest nila, parang katulad ng ginagawa ko sa raket fiesta, pero nagkataon lang na gay bar siya,” the actor-dancer said.

“Hindi naman ako naghubad. Hindi naman ako sumayaw na parang macho dancer or what. I performed, I danced to hip-hop, ganun. Hindi naman ako nag-patable or what.

Herras underscored that he’s not selective about the work he accepts as long as it’s a way for him to be able to provide for his family.

“Hindi ako namimili. Basta ako, trabaho? Still, it’s work.

Herras’ recent dance performance at a gay bar in Parañaque made the rounds online, with speculations that the actor-dancer did it as he doesn’t have on-screen projects anymore.

Herras was last seen in GMA Network’s mystery series “The Missing Husband,” “Unica Hija” and “Abot Kamay na Pangarap.”
