According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), roads along the parade route will be closed to the public. A “stop-and-go” system will also be implemented on designated roads on the day of the parade.

The participating films include “The Breadwinner Is…”, “Green Bones”, “The Uninvited Guest”, “Love in the Himalayas”, “Kingdom”, “Espantajo”, “Hold Me Tight”, “Strange Frequency: Taiwan Killer Hospital”, “Future You” and “Topak”, which will be released in theaters from December 25 to January 7, 2025.

Last year’s Starlight Parade was held in cities in the Camanawa region (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela). The Best Float Award went to a Japanese-style version of “When I Met You in Tokyo” starring Vilma Santos and Christopher De Leon.
