Beauty queens Catriona Gray, Michelle Dee and Celeste Cortesi marked their “revelation day” by disclosing that they had undergone liposuction to remove excess fats in certain parts of their bodies.
The Miss Universe Philippines titleholders spoke about this during an event with celebrity doctors and couple Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, as seen in a video shared by Belo through her Instagram page on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Gray spoke about how she opted for treatments and procedures to achieve her goal of toning and tightening her body.
“I even tried lipo for the first time here at the back of my arms,” she said. “You could just see that that’s just a little thing that I did and I’m able to carry myself in a certain way because I feel that, and that translates to confidence for me.”
Belo remarked that she never thought that the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder would admit that she underwent lipo.
Cortesi was the next to share her experience, quipping, “Today is the revelation day. Well, actually, what do I mention first?”
Kho jokingly replied, “Pwedeng lipo lang.”
Cortesi then recalled taking the procedure prior to flying to the United States for the 2022 Miss Universe pageant.
“It was two weeks before going to Miss Universe. We were crazy both of us,” the beauty queen said, referring to herself and Belo.
Belo likewise recounted, “It’s so funny. She told me, ‘Doktora, I have no confidence. I cannot compete because my arms are big.”
The celebrity doctor added that Cortesi did the procedure awake and that fortunately, Cortesi healed three days after it.

Dee, for her part, revealed that she underwent the surgery after she won the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
